As chief strategist for the agency, Aimee is the visionary that sees every decision as a responsibility—when you work with cause-driven clients, every single decision needs to lead to the greatest possible impact. Aimee believes the 90,000 hours we work during our lifetime should be energized by purpose, strategic action and an always-learning mentality. With a rebellious spirit and an ability to see the “why,” the “what if” and the “why not” in everything, Aimee is driven to do what seems impossible—from hiking 2,200 miles along the Appalachian Trail to creating an agency that can advocate for the causes that matter while becoming an Inc. Meet Jess–office meteorologist, keeper of minutes, lover of jean jackets, master of post-its. As the keeper of the Black Sheep multiverse, she knows when it’s time to move things forward and when it’s time for a glass of wine. With Jess, there’s a plan and a timeline for everything–from staying laser-focused on client deliverables to moving forward with Black Sheep’s objectives for this year and every year after that. Before Black Sheep, Jess managed accounts for Adcetera and earned a B.S. in Marketing from Texas A&M University.

Happy Katie, as she’s officially known across the internet, is a believer in people and goodness and change. A pizza fanatic, aviation lover and aspiring jazz pianist with a natural talent for sounding like everyone on NPR, Katie turns client dreams into strategies that work. It’s because she puts her mind and heart into reading, researching and uncovering every angle of possibility for your organization and the communities you energize. Before joining us, Katie was Director of PR and Social Marketing at Global Custom Commerce, a Home Depot company, where she founded their Social Customer Care program and UGC marketing, supporting tens of thousands of people a year. Ever the student, Katie is working on a Social Justice Graduate Certificate and Master of Liberal Arts (ALM) from Harvard University.

Natalie is a true aesthete whose Instagram account is filled with jewel–toned, actually–good–for you, chef–level plates and old–world inspired cocktails. Her artistic eye is meticulous—whether she’s bringing her design, photography or planning skills to the table. As Strategy Director, Natalie has her eye on the big picture, orchestrating the details to help clients succeed in their mission. A former Creative Director at Pinot’s Palette, she helped scale the national franchise from three to 150+ locations through training staff, cataloguing artwork, coordinating a re-brand and structuring operations. Natalie holds a M.A. in Arts Leadership from the University of Houston.

Shauna is our dependable leader of agency relationships and our expert in taking campaigns from “vague idea” to “exceeding all expectations.” She has an extensive background in launching successful, multi-million dollar campaigns, bringing her know-how to elevate our purpose-driven clients to breathtaking new heights. She's deeply invested in strategic, thoughtful storytelling paired with unmatched enthusiasm and confidence.

Bill is always seeing three steps ahead of a creative idea and quietly getting it all down on paper in the form of original, hand-drawn illustrations that fascinate and surprise. Affectionately, we refer to them as Billustrations. Before joining Black Sheep, Bill designed toys for the Manhattan Toy Company that landed at Target. Originally from Wyandotte, Michigan, Bill holds a B.F.A. from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and believes a bike ride in 20 degree weather is far superior to a beach day in the summer. 

Steph describes herself as The Ultimate Maximalist. She had, at varying times, four different undergraduate majors across two universities: jazz flute + music education AND writing for film + television at University of the Arts; American culture + media arts AND advertising research + strategy at Temple University. Steph has completed more than 500 hours of yoga teacher training. She taught yoga, trained yoga teachers and managed yoga studios for the better part of the last decade. She has worked as a pastry cook in a high-end Stephen Starr steakhouse. She's been on tour with multiple bands, including the Flaming Lips (look for her in the deleted scenes on their documentary DVD, The Fearless Freaks!). She's taught classes in Advertising and Media & Society at Temple University. She loves moderating focus groups and coding research data in order to build cohesive and dynamic brand identities. She is thrilled to dedicate her unique brand of enthusiasm, curiosity and love of learning to a cause-driven organization like The Black Sheep Agency. Steph lives in West Philadelphia with her cat, Scout Finch; her turtle, Olive; and her two guinea pigs, Karl and Frank.
