You are an expert at what you do, know the rules (and when to break them) and are adept at problem solving and conflict resolution. You possess a deep understanding of each phase in a creative project’s lifecycle and have experience planning strategically for and collaborating with clients and teammates of different marketing and creative disciplines to shepherd powerful outcomes.

You are ready to:

  • Partner with the Account Director to develop new agency project management best practices and mentor Account Managers on project management and client experience

Your day might include:

  • Evolving the Client Experience team knowledge base in partnership with team lead(s) to create consistency in our account and work processes, performance outcomes and quality of product
  • Ensuring the Client Experience team is equipped with the tools, information and resources necessary to fulfill their duties, mentoring and teaching what you’ve learned along the way
  • Participating in recruitment and onboarding of new account managers
  • Owning timely project communications with clients and project teams through email, Slack and phone communication
  • Creating and managing Wrike (our project management system) workspaces, projects and task lists and delegating work to the project team
  • Translating a scope of work into a comprehensive project plan, including budgets, timelines, milestones, briefs and RACIs
  • Tracking deliverables, managing expectations (internally and externally) and anticipating needs
  • Owning internal and external review schedules, facilitating feedback and vetting the work against the project’s goals and the agency’s standards
  • Anticipating project risks/red flags and notifying the team of resourcing issues, delivery status and/or changes in schedule
  • Scheduling, planning for and leading client and project meetings with your team; assessing project progress, advancing next steps and providing regular status updates to keep all parties tracking toward the deadline
  • Assisting with vendor communications; sourcing new external resources as needed and helping onboard new partners to Wrike
  • Supporting the business development team with scopes of work, workloads and estimates for existing clients; working with the Account Director to spot business development opportunities with existing clients
  • Contributing to process-improvement across the project management spectrum
